Open Source Software Packages
PARSEC seeks to enable and encourage hobbyist and business users alike to run modern, useful, and desirable open source software on their systems. In the same spirit of openness, we are releasing many new ports of existing Open Source. HP stopped creating their Open Source CDROM distribution in 2010, and didn't add a lot of new software since 2006. PARSEC expands on their software base and extends it. Not only are we releasing packages, but we plan to continue to do so with great scope beyond the original HP offering. We do not charge a dime for these packages and we hope you enjoy them!
