Course Description
This course is an entry-level, lecture/lab course designed to provide training for users who require the fundamental skills needed to become productive using a UNIX type operating system, including Tru64 UNIX, UNIX System V, or BSD.
The concepts presented in this course are suitable for users of any UNIX environment, and prepare the students to use the Korn shell on any UNIX based operating system. The examples, exercises, and solutions are based on Tru64 UNIX V5. The length of the course is five days.
This course includes functionality of the Tru64 UNIX V5 operating system, which may be running on a variety of machines.

Users of any UNIX environment.

Benefits of Attending this Class
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to log in and out, invoke desktop applications and set up their workspace.
